Mark joined Dyson in 2000. During his time with Dyson he played a key role in developing many technologies including the aerodynamics within the Dyson Digital Motors that are instrumental in aiding Dyson to pioneer in many product categories. In addition to his technical contributions he has successfully driven business change to transform product lifecycle management within Dyson, and developed and led diverse teams within engineering and research.
His Neurodiversity journey started in 2009 when he was diagnosed with Autism (a later in 2023 ADHD), which he decided to continue to keep hidden in the workplace. However, in 2020 Mark decided to use his growing knowledge of Neurodiversity and many years of workplace leadership experience to start what would become the Dyson Neurodiversity Network. Working with his colleagues he drove neurodiversity-inclusion initiatives through Dyson including coaching for neurodivergent colleagues and their managers; delivering the first sensory spaces within the Dyson campuses; and collaborating with Cognasist to deliver training for managers within the research department.
Mark left Dyson in 2024 as part of a business wide restructuring but seized the opportunity to embrace his passion for Neuro-inclusion and start Neuro-inclusive engineering services limited, dedicated to bringing his knowledge and experience to both individuals and companies who may be earlier in their own neurodiversity journey.
